Are you a Food Technology Teacher and have experience teaching secondary students in a UK school?

We are currently supporting a secondary school in Romford recruit a full time Food Technology Teacher to start in September 2024. However, the position is open for the Teacher to start sooner if possible or preferred. This position will be teaching KS 3 and KS4 and will be expected to teach GCSE level. A Level experience is preferred but not essential.

The School are looking for confident individuals who are passionate about making a difference to young people in their educational setting. They are seeking a professional who can deliver confident Food Technology lessons to students in years 7-11. You will be required to prepare year 10 and 11 students for their exams.

To become part of this team, you must;

  • Hold QTS or Teaching experience
  • Degree in catering/Food Technology
  • Have a consistent, calm and positive attitude towards young people
  • Be a team player
  • Have experience with challenging behaviour
  • Be flexible and able to deal with change
  • Be upbeat and motivational
