The PWR team has an opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to join our esteemed partner school in Romford, Essex. We are currently on the lookout for a dedicated and innovative individual to fill the position of Food Technology Teacher on a permanent basis, starting in September 2024. Immediate start options are available for candidates eager to begin earlier.

The Role:

  • Position: Food Technology Teacher
  • Start Date: September 2024 (Immediate start available)
  • Type: Permanent, Full-time
  • Location: Romford

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and innovative Food Technology lessons that inspire and challenge students.
  • Develop and implement effective lesson plans and teaching materials to support student learning.
  • Assess and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback and support as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of student achievement and attendance.
  • Contribute to the wider school community through involvement in extracurricular activities and events.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Degree or relevant qualification in Food Technology or a related field.
  • Previous experience teaching Food Technology at the secondary level, preferably within the UK curriculum.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Food Technology education.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to motivate and inspire students to excel in their studies.
