We are seeking to appoint an outstanding, innovative and inspirational teacher with the passion and enthusiasm to fulfil a key role in the school as a Teacher of Food. This post would suit somebody looking for their first teaching role, or someone with more experience. The key is that you are enthusiastic and capable of contributing to a highly effective and supportive DT teaching team.

There is flexibility regarding the position and candidates will have the opportunity to discuss at interview, but the selected candidate will have the ability to teach food and ideally, another subject within the department. Food and Nutrition and Hospitality and Catering are hugely popular choices at GCSE.

The School is a large, ambitious and good school in Central Northampton within easy reach of surrounding areas of Northamptonshire. The school are part of a successful Multi Academy Trust, comprising schools across the country. There is close proximity to some of these trust schools which allows lots of opportunities for staff collaboration.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
