As a Primary Supply Teacher, you will:
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons across EYFS, KS1, and/or KS2
- Follow lesson plans provided by the school or adapt resources where necessary
- Create a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment
- Quickly build rapport with pupils and staff in new settings
- Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
- Ensure pupils remain on task and achieve lesson objectives
- Provide brief feedback to the class teacher at the end of the day
- Arriving prepared and ready to teach at short notice where required
- Taking responsibility for the learning and wellbeing of pupils throughout the day
- Adapting teaching style to suit different classrooms and abilities
- Supporting teaching assistants and working collaboratively with school staff
- Upholding safeguarding and school policies at all times
- Marking work where required and leaving clear handover notes
- Flexibility: Choose when and where you work-ideal for fitting around other commitments
- Work-Life Balance: No planning or marking in many roles, allowing you to switch off after the school day
- Variety: Experience a wide range of schools, year groups, and teaching environments
