Position: Female PE Teacher

Location: Wellingborough, Northamptonshire

Teaching Personnel are excited to announce a job vacancy that we are currently recruiting for, taking place in a great Secondary School in Letchworth. The role is for a full time Female Physical Education teacher, which would be ideal for an individual who has a passion for inspiring students to lead active and healthy lifestyles.

About the role

The chosen candidate will be required to deliver active, and engaging PE lessons, for students across Key stages, 3, 4, and 5 providing them all with constructive feedback on their performance. You will be catering for various skill sets, so it is important that you are providing lessons in which all students are comfortable with as well as pushing all of them to their best ability so somebody with an innovative mindset would be ideal.

We also believe having a passion for the subject to help inspire the students to put their best efforts into the lessons, and hopefully encourage them into keeping physically healthy outside of them as well whether it being involving themselves in the school’s extra curriculum sessions or doing it out of school would be a great characteristic for the teacher to have.

Requirements

• QTS or equivalent, however unqualified teachers with experience in Teaching Physical Education will be considered
• A strong passion for promoting physical health and active lifestyles
• Knowledge of various sports and fitness activities
• The ability to inspire young people into finding a love for physical well-being
• A child only enhanced DBS
• An overseas police clearance (If applicable)
