A welcoming and inclusive mainstream primary school is seeking a dedicated SEN Teacher to join their team for the academic year, working with a small class of just 10 pupils across EYFS and KS1.

The class includes children with a range of additional and special educational needs, providing an excellent opportunity for an experienced teacher who is passionate about delivering highly personalised and inclusive education.

The Role

As the SEN Teacher, you will:

• Teach a small mixed EYFS and KS1 class of 10 pupils.
• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated and highly individualised lessons.
• Support pupils with a range of SEN and additional needs.
• Create a calm, nurturing and structured learning environment.
• Work closely with Teaching Assistants and the wider school team.
• Track pupil progress and adapt teaching and provision accordingly.
• Support pupils' academic, social, emotional and personal development.
• Work collaboratively with the school's Deputy Headteacher and SENCO.

About You

The school is looking for a teacher who is:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experienced working with children with SEN.
• Confident teaching across EYFS and KS1.
• Patient, nurturing and adaptable.
• Able to differentiate effectively and respond to individual learning needs.
• Passionate about creating positive outcomes for children with additional needs.
