We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a thriving mainstream primary school in Chorley.

The successful candidate will support children within the Early Years Foundation Stage, helping to create engaging learning experiences that support academic, social, and emotional development. This role is offered on a temp-to-perm basis, making it ideal for someone seeking long-term career stability.

  • Provide classroom support across the EYFS setting.
  • Work with pupils individually and in small groups.
  • Support learning through structured play and targeted interventions.
  • Help children develop communication, literacy, and numeracy skills.
  • Build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
  • Promote a safe, caring, and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Experience working with Early Years children is essential.
  • Experience may have been gained in schools, nurseries, childcare settings, or similar environments.
  • Level 3 Early Years qualification would be advantageous but is not essential.
  • Knowledge of EYFS principles and learning frameworks.
  • Positive, patient, and enthusiastic attitude towards supporting children.
  • £14.25 - £16.00 per hour.
