We are recruiting an experienced and caring EYFS Teaching Assistant for a mainstream primary school in Leyland.

This position offers an excellent opportunity to work within a supportive Early Years environment where you can help children develop the confidence, skills, and foundations needed for future learning success.

  • Support learning and development within the EYFS classroom.
  • Assist in delivering engaging educational activities.
  • Promote children's social, emotional, and academic progress.
  • Work alongside teachers and support staff to meet pupil needs.
  • Encourage positive behaviour and classroom participation.
  • Create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
  • Experience supporting children within an early years, nursery, childcare, or primary setting.
  • Level 3 Early Years qualification desirable but not essential.
  • Good understanding of child development and EYFS learning outcomes.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Positive and flexible approach to supporting children's learning.
