An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a thriving mainstream primary school in Leyland for the academic year.

Working within the Early Years Foundation Stage, you will play a key role in supporting children as they begin their educational journey, helping them develop academically, socially, and emotionally.

Candidates with a Level 3 Early Years Qualification are encouraged to apply, although this is not essential.

  • Support teaching and learning within the EYFS classroom.
  • Deliver planned activities and support children's learning through play.
  • Assist with phonics, communication, and language development.
  • Encourage confidence, creativity, and independence.
  • Support assessment and observation activities.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting.
  • Understanding of EYFS practices is beneficial.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and colleagues.
  • Enthusiastic and professional approach.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
  • Level 3 Early Years Qualification desirable but not essential.
  • £14.25 - £16.00 per hour.
