Length of Role: Academic Year (Flexible Start Date Available up to October Half Term for the Right Candidate)
Pay Rate: £14.25 - £16.00 per hour

Are you passionate about supporting young children during the most important stages of their education? A welcoming and supportive mainstream primary school in Blackburn is seeking a caring and enthusiastic EYFS Teaching Assistant to join their Early Years team for the academic year.

This is an excellent opportunity for experienced Teaching Assistants, Early Years Practitioners, Nursery Practitioners, Childcare Professionals, or individuals looking to develop their career within primary education.

A Level 3 Early Years Qualification would be beneficial but is not essential for the right candidate with relevant experience and a passion for supporting children's development.

• Support children in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
• Assist with the delivery of engaging and interactive learning activities.
• Support children's social, emotional, and educational development.
• Encourage positive behaviour and independence.
• Work with small groups and individual pupils as required.
• Assist with classroom organisation and learning resources.
• Help create a safe, stimulating, and nurturing learning environment.

• Experience working with young children in a school, nursery, preschool, or childcare setting.
• Knowledge of EYFS principles and child development is desirable.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
• Level 3 Early Years Qualification desirable but not essential.
