Job Advert: EYFS Teaching Assistant (Long-Term Opportunity)

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive school environment.

This is a long-term role running until July, with a strong possibility of a permanent position starting in September for the right candidate.

  • Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and creative EYFS lessons
  • Assist in the development of children’s social, emotional, and educational needs
  • Provide one-to-one and small group support where required
  • Help maintain a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment
  • Contribute to observations and assessments in line with EYFS framework
  • A recognised Early Years qualification (Level 2 or above)
  • Previous experience working within an EYFS setting
  • A patient, caring, and proactive attitude
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • A commitment to supporting young children’s development
  • A supportive and friendly school community
  • Valuable long-term experience in an EYFS setting
