We are currently recruiting for an EYFS Teaching Assistant in Darwen to join a vibrant mainstream primary school starting in September 2026. This temp-to-perm role is perfect for a committed Early Years professional who is passionate about supporting young learners.

As an EYFS Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in shaping children’s early educational experiences, promoting independence, curiosity, and confidence through engaging activities and structured support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in delivering EYFS learning activities aligned with the curriculum
  • Support children’s social, emotional, and academic development
  • Work collaboratively with teaching staff and SEN professionals
  • Help prepare classroom resources and learning environments
  • Monitor and record pupil progress

Requirements:

  • Level 2 or Level 3 EYFS qualification (essential)
  • Previous experience in Early Years or primary education
  • Ability to engage and motivate young children
  • Strong organisational and interpersonal skills
  • Paediatric First Aid (desirable)
