A nurturing primary school in Darwen is looking for an EYFS Teaching Assistant to join their early years team for the summer term. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who loves working with young children and is seeking a role that could become permanent.

You will support children’s early development, help deliver creative learning activities, and ensure the EYFS environment remains safe, engaging and supportive. The school has a strong reputation for its caring ethos and commitment to early learning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting children in all areas of the EYFS framework

  • Assisting with early literacy, numeracy and play‑based learning

  • Helping to maintain a stimulating classroom environment

  • Observing and documenting progress

  • Working closely with the EYFS team

  • Experience working with early years children

  • A warm, enthusiastic and child‑centred approach
