Position: SEN Teaching Assistant

Location: Mainstream Primary School in Darwen

Working Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8.45am - 15.15pm

Rate of Pay: £12.90 per hour

The school are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our dynamic Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) team.

The Role:

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in providing tailored support to children with SEN requirements within our vibrant EYFS setting. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating with teachers and specialists to deliver personalized learning experiences.
  • Assisting students with their daily activities, ensuring their well-being and progress.
  • Adapting teaching materials and strategies to accommodate individual needs.
  • Promoting social interaction and positive behaviour among students.
  • Monitoring and recording students' progress, communicating effectively with parents and guardians.
  • Creating a nurturing and inclusive atmosphere where every child feels valued and empowered.

What We're Looking For:

We are seeking an enthusiastic individual who shares our passion for promoting inclusivity and supporting children's development. While experience supporting children with SEN requirements is desirable, we welcome applicants with a genuine desire to learn and make a difference.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
