Do you have a passion for supporting young children in the early stages of their education? Are you confident delivering and supporting phonics interventions? We are looking for a nurturing and enthusiastic EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a friendly and supportive school from September.

As an EYFS Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Support children across the Early Years Foundation Stage to achieve their full potential.
  • Work alongside the class teacher to deliver engaging and creative learning activities.
  • Provide small group and one-to-one support, particularly in phonics.
  • Help create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment.
  • Encourage children's social, emotional, and academic development through play-based learning.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has previous experience working within an EYFS setting.
  • Has strong phonics knowledge and experience supporting phonics programmes and interventions.
  • Understands child development and the EYFS curriculum.
  • Is patient, caring, and able to build positive relationships with young children.
  • Has excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Holds a relevant Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent experience (desirable).
  • A welcoming and supportive school environment.
