About the Role

Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated EYFS Teacher looking for your next opportunity? We are seeking a passionate EYFS Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive primary school, where you will play a key role in supporting young children's early development, learning, and wellbeing. The successful candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating learning environment, helping children to develop their confidence, independence, communication, and social skills through engaging and play-based learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, creative, and age-appropriate learning experiences in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
• Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages curiosity, exploration, confidence, and independence.
• Support children's development across all areas of learning, including communication and language, physical development, literacy, mathematics, and personal, social, and emotional development.
• Use observations and assessments to monitor children's progress and identify areas for further support and development.
• Provide a range of engaging, play-based learning opportunities that support children's individual needs, interests, and stages of development.
• Promote positive behaviour and support children in developing strong social and emotional skills.
• Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, colleagues, parents, and the wider school team to support children's learning and wellbeing.
• Support children's transition into school and help them develop the skills needed for their next stage of learning.
• Ensure safeguarding policies and procedures are followed at all times.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge and understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
• The ability to plan and deliver engaging, creative, and play-based learning experiences.
• A nurturing, patient, and child-centred approach to teaching.
• Strong understanding of early childhood development and the importance of supporting children's individual needs.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
