Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a welcoming primary school in BL4 to appoint a passionate EYFS Teacher. This is a part-time position working Thursdays and Fridays, ideal for a teacher with a strong understanding of early development who is passionate about helping children build the foundations for lifelong learning.
About the Role
As the EYFS Teacher, you will:
- Lead and deliver high-quality teaching
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons that support children's early reading, writing, and communication skills
- Monitor pupil progress and use assessment data to identify next steps and interventions
- Support and guide colleagues in the delivery of effective phonics provision
- Create a positive, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment
- Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and year group staff to ensure consistency across classes
- Communicate effectively with parents and carers to support learning at home
- Contribute to planning meetings and the wider life of the school
About You
We are looking for a teacher who:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Has experience teaching within EYFS and/or Key Stage 1
- Has strong knowledge and experience of delivering a recognised phonics programme
- Has a passion for supporting children's early development
- Is organised, proactive, and able to work effectively as part of a team
- Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
