This is a wonderful opportunity for an EYFS specialist who is passionate about early childhood development and understands the importance of creating positive first experiences of school.

The Role

In EYFS, learning happens everywhere — through play, exploration, and relationships. This role is centred on nurturing young learners while providing engaging foundations for lifelong learning.

You will:

  • Create a stimulating, play-based learning environment aligned with the EYFS framework
  • Support children’s personal, social, emotional, and academic development
  • Encourage curiosity, communication, creativity, and early independence
  • Observe, assess, and adapt learning to meet individual needs
  • Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues
  • Work collaboratively within a supportive Early Years team

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for an EYFS Teacher who understands that early education is about care, consistency, and connection.

You will:

  • Have experience teaching in EYFS or a strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum
  • Hold QTS or a relevant qualification
(unqualified teachers with strong EYFS experience are welcome to apply)
  • Be patient, creative, and child-centred in your approach
  • Maintain a nurturing yet structured classroom environment
  • Be adaptable and work well as part of a team

Why This Role?

  • Part-time position offering flexibility
  • Supportive leadership and a welcoming school community
  • Competitive pay in line with MPS / UPS
  • Ongoing support from a dedicated Supply Desk consultant
  • Opportunities for CPD and future roles
