EYFS Nursery Lead & KS1 Intervention TA3 New

Are you a passionate Level 3 qualified Early Years practitioner looking for a role where you can make a real impact across both EYFS and Key Stage 1?

Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a welcoming primary school in Leyland to recruit a TA3 / Higher Level Teaching Assistant to lead their Nursery provision each morning and deliver targeted interventions for Year 1 and Year 2 pupils in the afternoons.

This is a full time position within standard school hours, starting as soon as possible. The Nursery Lead element of the role is expected to continue under Section 27 funding, with the KS1 intervention support running from October half term through to at least Christmas, with potential to continue until February.

Mornings

• Lead the Nursery class provision as the designated TA3
• Plan and deliver engaging Early Years activities
• Create a nurturing and stimulating learning environment
• Support children's development across the EYFS curriculum
• Work closely with school leaders to ensure high quality provision

Afternoons

• Deliver targeted interventions to Year 1 and Year 2 pupils
• Support phonics, literacy and numeracy development
• Track pupil progress and provide feedback to teaching staff
• Help pupils build confidence and close learning gaps

• Holds a Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare
• Has experience leading activities or groups within an EYFS setting
• Confident working independently and taking responsibility for Nursery provision
• Strong understanding of the EYFS Framework
• Experience delivering interventions across KS1 would be advantageous
• Positive, proactive and committed to helping children thrive
