About the Role

Are you a nurturing and enthusiastic Level 3 EYFS Practitioner looking for your next opportunity? We are seeking a dedicated Early Years Practitioner to join a welcoming and supportive nursery or primary school, where you'll help create a safe, engaging, and stimulating environment that enables every child to thrive during their early years of development.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, play-based activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
• Support the learning, development, and wellbeing of children aged 0–5 years, encouraging curiosity, creativity, and independence.
• Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment where every child feels valued and supported.
• Observe, assess, and record children's progress, contributing to learning journals and developmental assessments.
• Support children's personal, social, emotional, and physical development through positive interactions and purposeful activities.
• Promote early literacy, numeracy, communication, and language development through structured and child-led learning.
• Build positive relationships with parents, carers, and colleagues, providing regular updates on children's progress and wellbeing.
• Ensure high standards of health and safety, hygiene, and safeguarding are maintained at all times.
• Work collaboratively as part of the Early Years team to deliver outstanding care and education.

Requirements

• A full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification is essential.
• Previous experience working within an EYFS setting, nursery, or primary school.
• A sound understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach to supporting young children.
• The ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
• An understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
• A current enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
