Position: Exam Invigilator (Casual Basis)
Tudor Grange Academy Redditch is seeking Exam Invigilators to oversee and supervise examinations, ensuring the integrity and security of examination papers and procedures during examination sessions.
About the Role: The role of an Exam Invigilator is vital in maintaining the integrity and security of examination processes. Responsibilities include setting up examination rooms, managing the entry and exit of students, distributing examination papers, monitoring candidates during examinations, and ensuring adherence to examination guidelines and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in setting up examination rooms prior to the start of examinations.
- Manage the entry and exit of students to and from the examination room, ensuring a smooth and organised process.
- Distribute examination question papers and answer papers to candidates.
- Be attentive to the needs of candidates during examinations and provide assistance as required.
- Accompany individual students who may need to temporarily leave the examination room.
- Collect answer scripts in candidate number order and supervise them until they are delivered to the Examinations Officer.
- Enforce examination room regulations and maintain security and confidentiality throughout the examination process.
- Ensure candidates do not bring inappropriate items into the examination hall and maintain a quiet and orderly environment once examinations begin.
Additional Information:
- Employment will be on a casual basis.
- The peak periods of examinations are May and June, with mock exams scheduled in March, November, and December.
