The main responsibilities of an Exam Invigilator include:

  • Setting up examination venues by laying out stationery, equipment, and exam papers in accordance with set procedures.
  • Ensuring all candidates follow exam regulations and guidelines during the examination.
  • Supervising candidates to maintain a calm and secure exam environment.
  • Collecting and securely storing all exam papers at the end of the examination.
  • Reporting any incidents or issues to the exam officer or relevant authority.

The role of an Exam Invigilator may require standing for long periods and working in a quiet and focused environment during exam periods. Flexibility in working hours may be necessary to accommodate exam schedules.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
