The English Tutor will be responsible for providing high-quality English language instruction to students. Duties include planning and delivering lessons, assessing student progress, and providing feedback to enhance learning outcomes. The tutor will also assist students in improving their English language skills through individualised instruction and support.

  • A relevant teaching qualification
  • Proficiency in English language
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

A degree in English language or related field

Prior experience in teaching English as a second language is preferred

  • Strong understanding of English language principles
  • Ability to tailor lessons to meet individual student needs
  • Effective classroom management skills
  • Experience working with diverse student populations
  • Additional teaching certifications

The English Tutor will work in a classroom setting, providing instruction to students. The role may require flexibility in working hours to accommodate student schedules. The tutor will collaborate with other educators and staff to support student learning and development.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
