Are you an English teacher looking to move into tuition or already tutoring and want to support pupils with their GCSE's?

TP Tutors have an exciting opportunity to help young children with achieving their academic goals within English at a secondary school near Hexham. 

The role will require someone who can create and plan exciting and engaging sessions to maximise the student’s potential in all aspects of the subject.

The Role:

  • 2 x Full days per week (Wednesday and Friday).
  • To start ASAP.
  • Plan, create and teach engaging sessions, with the support of the English Lead. 
  • Track progress and report on our unique learning platform.
  • Implement school behaviour strategies to ensure students are focussed.

Tutor Requirements:

  • Full teaching qualification with experience and strong knowledge of the UK National Curriculum for English. 
  • A current Child workforce DBS on the update service, or a willingness to purchase one via Teaching Personnel.
  • A willingness and commitment to work with pupils who have gaps in their education and to support and nurture their learning. 
  • Prepared to work with the English department to provide the best care and education for pupils. 

To be successful in your application, you must be able to provide evidence of this as skills and experience.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
