Are you an English graduate looking to gain valuable classroom experience before pursuing a career in teaching? We are recruiting enthusiastic and motivated English Graduate Teaching Assistants to support secondary schools across Bolton, Bury and Salford.

This is an excellent opportunity for graduates who are passionate about English and literacy and want to make a positive impact on students' learning and development.

As an English Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and students to:

  • Support pupils with written work and literacy development.
  • Provide one-to-one and small group interventions in English.
  • Help students improve their reading, writing, spelling and grammar skills.
  • Assist in delivering engaging classroom activities and lessons.
  • Support students of varying abilities, including those who require additional learning support.
  • Encourage confidence and engagement in English lessons.
  • Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teaching staff.
  • A degree in English, English Literature, Creative Writing or a related subject.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • A passion for education and supporting young people.
  • A positive, proactive and professional attitude.
  • Previous experience working with young people is beneficial but not essential.
