Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and committed English Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Weymouth, with the role available to start ASAP.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced English Teacher, or an ECT, looking to join a supportive school environment and make a real difference to students across KS3 and KS4.
Teaching English Language and Literature across KS3 and KS4
Planning and delivering engaging, well-structured lessons
Supporting students to develop their literacy, communication and analytical skills
Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment
Assessing and tracking student progress
Working collaboratively with the wider English department
The school is a welcoming and inclusive mainstream secondary school in Weymouth, with a strong focus on supporting students to achieve their potential. You will be joining an established department with a collaborative approach to teaching and learning.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification
Experience teaching English within a secondary school
Strong knowledge of the KS3 and KS4 English curriculum
Confident classroom management skills
Passionate about English and helping students succeed
Available to start ASAP
