Are you a passionate and dedicated English Teacher looking for your next opportunity in Greater Manchester?

We are working with a number of welcoming and supportive secondary schools across Bolton, Bury, and Salford seeking qualified English Teachers for roles starting from October 2026. Opportunities are available on both a long-term and permanent basis, with flexible daily supply work also available.

Whether you're an experienced practitioner or an enthusiastic Early Career Teacher (ECT), we would d love to hear from you.

As an English Teacher, you will:

  • Deliver engaging English Language and Literature lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
  • Plan, prepare, and assess work in line with the national curriculum
  • Inspire students to develop confidence in reading, writing, and communication
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Support pupils in achieving strong academic outcomes
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Specialism in English
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
  • A passion for teaching and motivating young people
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
