Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with secondary schools across Cannock and Rugeley who are looking for enthusiastic English Teachers to support their students from September 2026.

We are recruiting for a range of opportunities, including full-time long-term positions and flexible day-to-day work, making this suitable for experienced teachers, ECTs, or those looking for greater flexibility.

The schools we work with value creativity, collaboration, and high-quality teaching. You will have the opportunity to join supportive English departments where staff are encouraged to share ideas, contribute to wider school life, and help students develop confidence in their communication skills.

  • Teach English across KS3 and KS4.
  • Deliver engaging lessons that inspire students.
  • Support students in developing reading, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Plan and adapt lessons to meet different abilities.
  • Monitor student progress and provide feedback.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Work alongside colleagues to support department development.
  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Has experience teaching English within a secondary school setting.
  • Has strong subject knowledge.
  • Can motivate and engage students.
  • Has effective classroom management skills.
  • Is passionate about helping young people achieve their potential.
  • Is adaptable and committed to high-quality teaching.

  • Hold the right to work in the UK.
