About the Role
Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated English Teacher looking for your next opportunity? We are seeking a motivated English Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive secondary school, where you'll play a key role in inspiring students to develop a love of literature, language, and effective communication.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, creative, and inclusive English lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
- Create a positive, safe, and stimulating classroom environment that promotes learning, confidence, and academic achievement.
- Assess, monitor, and record students' progress, using assessment data to inform planning and support individual achievement.
- Inspire students to develop their reading, writing, speaking, and analytical skills through high-quality teaching and effective classroom management.
- Promote positive behaviour in line with the school's behaviour policy.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, teaching assistants, and the wider school team to deliver an outstanding learning experience.
- Prepare students for internal assessments and external examinations, providing targeted support where required.
- Ensure safeguarding policies and procedures are followed at all times.
