  • Plan and deliver engaging English lessons following the national curriculum
  • Create lesson plans that cater to different learning styles within the classroom
  • Strong classroom presence and ability to manage classroom behaviour effectively
  • Work with children with special educational needs
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and parents for the benefit of the pupils learning and development
  • BA in English Language or Literature
  • Qualified Teacher Status or relevant teaching qualification
  • Level 2 Safeguarding certificate (available for FREE)
  • Previous experience teaching English in a secondary school or to secondary aged children

Previous experience teaching English within a secondary setting or to secondary aged children through tutoring or extra curricular is advantageous

  • Strong classroom presence
  • Effective behaviour management techniques
  • Experience working with children with special educational needs
  • Ability to adapt lesson plans to suit varying learning styles
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and parents for the benefit of the pupils learning and development

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
