English Teacher

The PWR team are currently working in partnership with an Academy in Romford, Essex. We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated individual to fill the role of English Teacher on a permanent basis, beginning in September 2024. Immediate start options are available for candidates eager to commence earlier.

The Role:

• Position: English Teacher
• Start Date: September 2024 (Immediate start available)
• Type: Permanent, Full-time
• Location: Romford, Essex

Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and inspiring English lessons that foster a love for literature and language.
• Develop and implement innovative lesson plans and teaching resources to meet the needs of diverse learners.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their academic growth.
• Maintain accurate records of student achievement and attendance.
• Contribute to the wider school community through involvement in extracurricular English activities and events.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Degree or relevant qualification in English or a related field.
• Previous experience teaching English at the secondary level, preferably within the UK curriculum.
• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for English education.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to inspire and motivate students to excel in their studies.
