Position: English Teacher

Salary: £30,000 – £46,525 per year (M1 to UPS3)

Contract: Full-time

Start Date: June 2024

They are located within Durham with access from surrounding areas via the A1/A1(M) or the A68. For candidates who do not drive, there are many public transport links from the surrounding areas of The North East.

 

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent
  • Excellent subject knowledge within the English curriculum with a passion for your subject.
  • Strong behaviour management skills.
  • Have a child only DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one. (We can help you apply).
  • Provide 2 professional references from recent employment.

 

Job Brief

  • Teaching KS3 and KS4, English to a range of abilities.
  • Plan, deliver and mark English lessons to meet the needs of students at various levels of learning.
