Teaching personnel are looking to recruit a enthusiastic English Early careers teacher (ECT) for an outstanding school in Ilford. This exciting role offers the opportunity to gain valuable experience and support as you begin your teaching career. Job Duties:

  • Plan and deliver engaging English lessons to students
  • Assess and evaluate student progress, providing feedback and support
  • Develop and implement effective teaching strategies
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the English curriculum
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance and performance

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
  • Degree in English or related field
  • Knowledge of the UK National Curriculum for English
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skill
  • Experience working with students in a secondary school setting

Education:

Bachelor's degree in English or related field

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong grasp of mathematical concepts and principles
  • Ability to create engaging and interactive learning experiences
  • Effective classroom management skills
