Are you passionate about supporting young children during the most important stages of their development? Teaching Personnel are working alongside a welcoming and nurturing primary school in Garstang that is looking to appoint an enthusiastic EYFS Teaching Assistant to join their Early Years team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys helping children learn through play, supporting their development, and creating positive experiences that lay the foundations for future learning. The school offers a friendly and supportive environment where staff work closely together to ensure every child feels happy, safe, and confident.

  • Supporting children within the EYFS classroom environment
  • Assisting with learning through play and child-led activities
  • Supporting pupils with their social, emotional, and educational development
  • Working with small groups and individual children to reinforce learning
  • Helping to create an engaging, stimulating, and nurturing learning environment
  • Supporting classroom routines, observations, and learning activities
  • Encouraging positive behaviour and independence
  • Has experience working with children in a school, nursery, childcare, or similar setting
  • Holds a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years (desirable)
  • Has a good understanding of the EYFS curriculum
  • Is patient, caring, and enthusiastic
  • Can build positive relationships with children, parents, and staff
  • Has a genuine passion for supporting children's development and wellbeing
