Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Garstang, who are seeking a dedicated EYFS Teaching Assistant to join their early years team from September.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about early childhood development and thrives in a nurturing, play-based learning environment.

  • Supporting children in Nursery or Reception, both 1:1 and in small groups
  • Assisting the class teacher with daily activities and lesson preparation
  • Promoting positive behaviour and emotional development
  • Supporting learning through play in line with the EYFS framework
  • Helping to create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment
  • Has experience working within an EYFS setting (desirable)
  • Holds a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare (desirable)
  • Is patient, caring, and enthusiastic about supporting young learners
  • Has a good understanding of the EYFS curriculum
  • Holds (or is willing to apply for) an enhanced DBS on the update service
  • Competitive weekly pay, paid through PAYE
