We know how unbelievably frustrating the criteria is when it comes to wanting to move from early years to education - especially when the demand within schools is so high!

We also know experience gained within early years settings is so incredibly valuable to those children who have only recently started school. Whether it’s your knowledge of the EYFS, your ability to care and comfort, or just your all-round nurturing nature that you’ve developed from working with young children (some of which can be as young as 6 weeks old!)

That’s why here at Smile Northwest we’ve partnered with several primary schools to create the Smile “Early Years-to-Education” program. This is offering you the opportunity to work within a school without specific classroom experience.

The successful candidate must have:

• Level 3 Early Years Education / Level 3 Children and Young Peoples Workforce (any other relevant CACHE qualification)
• 1 year experience working with children aged 0-5yrs
• Be able to provide 2 professional references, supporting your engagement with children.
