EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant – LA1 Area
September Start | Full Time

Teaching Personnel is working closely with a welcoming and supportive primary school in the LA1 area, seeking a dedicated EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant to join their Early Years team from September.

This is an excellent opportunity to support young learners at the very start of their educational journey, with a particular focus on children with additional needs.

  • Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils within the EYFS setting
  • Assist children with Special Educational Needs (SEN), adapting activities to meet individual needs
  • Support the class teacher in delivering engaging, play-based learning experiences
  • Promote a safe, inclusive and nurturing learning environment
  • Help to monitor and record pupil progress
  • Experience working with children in an EYFS or SEN setting
  • A patient, caring and proactive approach
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • A good understanding of early childhood development
  • Level 3 Childcare qualification is desirable but not essential
