Job Type: Temporary, expected to work Full-Time hours

Salary: £12.55 - £15.00 Per hour

Job Duties:

  • Plan and implement activities to meet the developmental needs of children
  • Observe and record children's progress and behaviour
  • Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children
  • Communicate effectively with parents and colleagues
  • Contribute to the overall running of the nursery or early years setting

Required Qualifications:

  • Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent
  • Valid DBS check
  • First Aid certification

Education:

  • GCSEs or equivalent in English and Maths

Experience:

  • Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Understanding of child development principles
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Level 4 qualification in Early Years Education
  • Specialist training in areas such as safeguarding or SENCO

Working Conditions:

  • Work in a fast-paced and dynamic early years environment
  • May involve standing for extended periods and lifting children
  • Regular interaction with children and their families

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
