An Ofsted-rated 'GOOD' primary school in Ashford, Kent, is excited to invite applications for the position of Early Years Practitioner. This is a wonderful opportunity to join our permanent staff starting in September or sooner, and play a pivotal role in nurturing the youngest members of our school community.

Key Responsibilities:
*Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and educational programs that promote the development of children in the EYFS.
*Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment where children feel valued and inspired to learn.
*Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records and sharing insights with parents and colleagues.
*Collaborate with the teaching team to support the holistic development of each child.
*Promote positive behaviour and social skills through effective behaviour management strategies.
*Engage with parents and carers to provide regular updates on their child's development and learning journey.

*Relevant Early Years qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 3 in Childcare and Education, CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Early Years Education and Care, or equivalent).
*Proven experience working with young children in an educational or childcare setting.
*Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive
*relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
*A passion for early childhood education and a commitment to providing high-quality care and learning opportunities.
*First Aid certification (preferred but not essential).
*A proactive, enthusiastic, and nurturing approach to working with young children.
