£12.90 - £15.00 Per hour

  • Planning and implementing activities to meet the physical, emotional, intellectual, and social needs of the children in the early years setting
  • Providing high-quality care and education for children aged 0-5 years old
  • Creating a safe, secure, and stimulating environment for children to learn and develop
  • Observing and assessing children's development and writing reports for parents and caregivers
  • Working closely with parents and caregivers to build positive relationships and support children's individual needs
  • Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education or equivalent qualification
  • Valid DBS check (Disclosure and Barring Service)
  • Up-to-date Safeguarding training

Minimum of Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education

At least 2 years of experience working in an early years setting

  • Understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • First Aid certification
  • Specialist training in areas such as child development or special educational needs
  • Work may involve standing for long periods and lifting children or equipment
  • Varied shifts including early mornings, evenings, and weekends
  • Potential exposure to illnesses and challenging behaviour

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
