Education and Training

£12.90 - £15.00 per hour

  • Plan and implement activities that meet the individual needs of children in the early years setting
  • Observe and record children's development and progress
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
  • Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all children in the setting
  • Support children's emotional and social development
  • Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification or equivalent
  • Valid DBS check
  • Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework

Minimum of Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification

Previous experience working in an early years setting is desirable

  • Understanding of child development and learning theories
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Basic IT skills
  • Paediatric First Aid qualification
  • Safeguarding training

This role involves working with children in an early years setting, following a set schedule and working collaboratively with other staff members. The work may involve standing for long periods and occasional lifting of children or equipment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
