As a Level 3 Early Years Practitioner, you will play a key role in creating an inspiring and engaging environment where every child feels safe, valued, and supported.
Your responsibilities will include:
Providing a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment for children, while maintaining staff-to-child ratios and adhering to nursery policies
Planning and supporting exciting play-based activities that encourage learning and development
Building positive relationships with children, parents, carers, and colleagues
Observing, assessing, and recording children's progress with accurate and high-quality documentation
Ensuring safeguarding, health, and welfare standards are upheld at all times, including completing risk assessments and relevant records
Supporting the settling-in process for new children and working closely with families to ensure a smooth and positive transition
✅ Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years Qualification (essential)
✅ Previous experience working within a nursery or childcare setting (essential)
✅ Good understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
✅ Excellent communication and teamwork skills
✅ Paediatric First Aid qualification
✅ A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
