Teaching Personnel is working with a welcoming primary school in the B15 area of Birmingham who are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Year 3 Teacher to join their team from September 2026.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an ECT looking to gain valuable experience within a supportive primary school environment. The school is looking for someone who can build positive relationships with pupils, deliver engaging lessons and develop their confidence in classroom and behaviour management.
Teaching a Year 3 class on a full-time basis
Planning and delivering engaging and differentiated lessons across the KS2 curriculum
Creating a positive, inclusive and supportive learning environment
Supporting pupil progress through assessment and targeted interventions
Developing strong classroom management and behaviour management strategies
Supporting pupils with a range of learning needs, including SEND
Working closely with experienced teachers and support staff
Building positive relationships with pupils and encouraging confidence, independence and engagement
The school would be particularly interested in hearing from ECTs and newly qualified teachers who:
Hold QTS or are newly qualified with QTS
Have experience teaching within a primary school setting
Are enthusiastic about developing their teaching practice
Have a good understanding of KS2 learning and the Year 3 curriculum
Can create engaging and differentiated lessons
Are developing strong behaviour and classroom management skills
Understand the importance of SEND and inclusive practice
Are committed to supporting pupil progress and wellbeing
Are keen to learn from experienced colleagues and become part of a supportive school team
