Location: Leyland.

Start date: ASAP.

Contract type: Full time (Mon-Fri, 6:30am – 9:30am and 3:15pm – 6:00pm) temp – perm.

Pay rate: £11.85-£12.50 p/h.

Requirements:

  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Experience/confidence with handling challenging behaviour.
  • Able to remain calm in high pressure environments.
  • Must be positive and solution focussed.
  • United and mutually supportive.

A Specialist Provision in the Leyland area is looking for a driver to transport their pupils to and from school daily. You will be working alongside the school’s Family Liaison Officer and therefore must be aware of SEMH and be confident when facing challenging behaviour. You must hold a full UK driving licence and must be flexible around the working hours.

This excellent KS3 – KS4 specialist provision in the Leyland area is looking to recruit for this role from ASAP. This provision delivers highly personalised learning programmes and work in close partnership with local schools, local authorities and external agencies and parents/carers. Previous experience of school transport is desirable, however the school are open to applicants with other relevant experience e.g general van driving. This incredibly flexible role is ideal for someone who is looking for a temp-perm role to start immediately.
