Academics, an established Education Agency, are acting as an agency and are recruiting a Drama Teacher to work on a temporary, ongoing supply basis across a range of welcoming secondary schools throughout Doncaster.

This Drama Teacher opportunity is ideal for teachers looking to deliver their specialist subject whilst also remaining open to general secondary cover roles when subject-specific opportunities are not available. Pay: £140 - £195 per day (paid via PAYE, no umbrella company fees, inclusive of holiday pay, dependent on experience, training, qualifications and client rate available)

About the Role

As a Drama Teacher in Doncaster, you will deliver engaging and creative Drama lessons across KS3 and KS4, encouraging pupils to develop confidence, creativity, communication skills and performance techniques.

The Drama Teacher role in Doncaster will involve creating engaging learning experiences, supporting pupils' artistic development and helping students build confidence through performance and practical activities.

Where subject-specific Drama opportunities are limited, this role can also include general secondary cover, allowing you to continue working within supportive Doncaster secondary schools while maintaining flexibility.

Key Responsibilities

Candidate Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching Drama within secondary education
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills
  • Creative, adaptable and enthusiastic approach
  • Enhanced DBS Certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
