A rare opportunity has arisen in the Torfaen area for a Drama Teacher to join a vibrant secondary school on a full-time basis. This is an exciting role teaching across key stages 3 and 4 Drama with some lessons of English. The school are open to accepting Newly Qualified Teachers and those coming to the end of their final year PGCE.

Placement details:

  • Monday to Friday (term time only).
  • May start until July 2024 (next academic year pending successful review).
  • Teaching KS3 and KS4 Drama and English.
  • Drama club every Tuesday evening (optional but desirable).
  • Lesson planning, marking and parents evening’ attendance.
  • Paid to scale in line with the Welsh framework.

The school have a supportive and inspiring Drama department and are hoping to offer someone the opportunity to provide a passionate and innovative teaching experience. The school will offer autonomy on your teaching style and seeking an individual with excellent subject and curriculum knowledge.
