We are recruiting on behalf of a growing and ambitious secondary school seeking an enthusiastic and committed Design & Technology Teacher to join their team from September 2026, or earlier if available.

As a Design & Technology Teacher, you will deliver high‑quality teaching across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the opportunity to contribute to curriculum planning and enrichment activities.

You will work collaboratively with colleagues to support pupil progress, promote inclusive practice, and help students develop creativity, resilience, teamwork, and problem‑solving skills through Design & Technology.


  • Deliver engaging and effective Design & Technology lessons across KS3 and KS4
  • Plan and adapt lessons to meet the needs of diverse learners
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and well‑managed learning environment
  • Assess, track, and support pupil progress using appropriate data and feedback
  • Contribute to curriculum development and knowledge‑rich planning
  • Support enrichment activities, trips, and extracurricular opportunities
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice
  • Promote high standards of behaviour, aspiration, and achievement

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Strong subject knowledge of Design & Technology at KS3 and KS4
  • Ability to plan engaging lessons that meet a range of learning needs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to continuous professional development
