DESIGN & TECHNOLOGY TEACHER (KS3–KS4)

Location: Aylesbury
Start: September 2026
Full Time: Temporary to Permanent
Salary: £29,344–£44,919

By the end of the lesson, something should exist that didn’t at the start.
A product. A plan. A design that works better than the first attempt.

That’s how you know the lesson has done its job.

As a Design & Technology Teacher, you will teach KS3 and KS4 students how to plan, create, test, and improve their work in a structured and practical environment. This is not just about making — it’s about thinking through the process and understanding how things are built properly.

Key responsibilities
Teach Design & Technology across KS3 and KS4
Guide students through the design, make, and evaluate process
Plan lessons with clear structure and purpose
Support students with practical skills and safe tool use
Prepare students for GCSE coursework and assessment
Maintain a well-organised and controlled workshop environment
Ensure all health and safety standards are consistently followed
Monitor student progress and provide clear feedback

The classroom environment
Lessons are organised before they begin
