Are you a passionate Design and Technology teacher?
Do you see yourself as a Design and Technology teacher who is willing to go the extra mile?
Are you a Design and Technology teacher, either living in Redcar or able to commute daily?

 An 11-16 mainstream secondary school based in Redcar is seeking an experienced Design and Technology teacher to join their team on a full-time basis from April 2024. You will be expected to teach Design and Technology across KS3 and KS4.

  • Design and Technology teacher (KS3-KS4)
  • Design specialism ideal
  • Full-time role beginning April 2024        
  • MPS/UPS pay scale (£30,000- £46,525)

 The successful Design and Technology must have;

  • A track record of working as a Design and Technology teacher within the curriculum at KS3 and KS4.
  • QTS qualification or equivalent
  • Be an effective classroom practitioner with strong behaviour management (especially when students are undergoing a practical task) and committed to ensuring all students succeed and fulfil their potential.
  • The ability to demonstrate a range of innovative teaching and learning strategies.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
