We are seeking an experienced and passionate Deputy Nursery Manager to join our growing team in Hillingdon. Working alongside the Nursery Manager, you will help lead the day-to-day operations of the nursery, ensuring outstanding childcare, education, and compliance standards are maintained.

This is an excellent opportunity for a confident Level 3 qualified professional looking to progress within a supportive and ambitious nursery environment.

  • Support the Nursery Manager with the daily running of the nursery.
  • Lead, motivate, and support staff to deliver outstanding practice.
  • Ensure compliance with EYFS, Ofsted, safeguarding, and health and safety requirements.
  • Monitor children's learning and development outcomes.
  • Support staff recruitment, induction, training, and performance management.
  • Build strong relationships with parents, carers, and external agencies.
  • Assist with occupancy, retention, and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Act as Nursery Manager in their absence.
  • Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a Room Leader, Third in Charge, or Deputy Manager position.
  • Strong knowledge of EYFS, safeguarding, and Ofsted requirements.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Passion for delivering exceptional care and education.
  • Level 5 qualification in Early Years or Leadership.
  • Paediatric First Aid qualification.
  • Experience leading teams through Ofsted inspections.
